RubA'Dub Sundays A Celebration of Reggae Dancehall Culture
For the past 6 years the popular sunday club, RubA'Dub Sundays have invited reggae lovers and newcomers to an old punk venue in Copenhagen.
Starting out as a small gathering af "in crowd" selectors and friends, the club quickly became one of copenhagens most talked about and hyped nights.
Over this time the club has presented many top international names and soundsystems alongside the best local reggae to packed audiences and sweaty dancefloors.
Filmed over 4 years by documentary maker Andreas Rosforth, this DVD includes live concerts filmed at the club plus interviews and studio sessions from both Copenhagen and Jamaica. A peak into the culture and a tribute to fucked up mondays.
Artists featured include Max Romeo, Johnny Clarke, Burro Banton, King Kong, Ward21, Shinehead, Horace Andy, The Congos, Josey Wales, Carlton Livingston, Natasja, Bikstok + many more.
As bonus material this DVD also includes footage from Danish Sound Clash Mesterskab 2007. An actionpacked event featuring 4 topranking Danish sounds battling it out for the honourable title.
